The KOK Mandate Group has deployed 372 Polling Booth Ambassadors (PBAs) to 186 polling units in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Lagos State as part of efforts to mobilise grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election and the governorship ambition of Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The ambassadors, deployed on Sunday through the group’s Independent Campaign Group (ICG), were charged with using micro-targeting strategies to canvass registered voters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bamigbetan, former chairman of Ejigbo LCDA and leader of the group, announced a N10,000 mobilisation grant for each ambassador, urging them to deploy the funds judiciously in pasting campaign posters and engaging voters on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) register.

He said the initiative would prioritise verified voters rather than rely on conventional door-to-door campaigns and roadshows, which he described as less cost-effective and time-consuming.
“The micro-targeting programme is more prudent in terms of cost and more efficient in terms of time than door-to-door and roadshow canvassing methods,” he said.
Bamigbetan, who spoke during the training of the ambassadors, said the participants would receive polling-unit-specific voter registers through ward chairmen and record the outcomes of their engagements in designated booklets.
He explained that voters who initially declined to support the candidates would be referred to a secondary team for further engagement, while information gathered would also guide targeted empowerment initiatives.
The group also unveiled 10,000 explainer cards detailing 50 achievements of the Tinubu administration to equip the ambassadors with information for their campaign engagements. It said Hamzat’s governorship manifesto would also be distributed as part of the mobilisation drive.

Bamigbetan described the KOK Mandate movement as more than an electoral platform, saying it was established to nurture democratic values and grassroots political participation within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Without true democrats, there is no democracy. True democrats respect the will of the majority, while autocratic individuals resort to violence, rigging or the misuse of power to oppress the people,” he said.
The ten-week mobilisation programme operates under the slogan, “PBA – Target the voters; the rest will follow.”
