Carlos Alcaraz won his fourth title of an injury-disrupted season as he defeated Alex de Minaur in the Erste Bank Open final in Vienna.
The Spaniard, who missed five months of the year with a wrist issue, powered to a 6-1 6-4 win against world No 10 Minaur in the indoor hard-court event.
World No 3 Alcaraz delivered a high-quality, 97-minute display to overwhelm De Minaur and secure the title without dropping a set across his five matches.
The 23-year-old arrived in Vienna following titles in Doha and Tokyo and completed a perfect 16-0 record at ATP 500 events in 2026 with another dominant week.
"My team and I know pretty well Alex de Minaur's level," Alcaraz said. "His style is really dangerous. Really flat balls that slip a lot through the court really low. It's really difficult to increase the power that I want to in every shot and every ball.
"He's really fast, so you have to earn every point. You might hit a winner against everybody, except him. I had to be really focused on that, so we knew I had to start the match really focused, increasing my speed, my pace in every shot.
"I tried to be aggressive and show him that if he wants to win, he has to play better [than me], more aggressive, more solid, and be smarter than me.
"I'm just really happy that at the end I found my way, played great, and obviously it has been a really emotional and amazing week for me.
"I learned a lot, to keep going forward, step by step, playing on indoor courts, and trying to gain more confidence playing on this surface."
Alcaraz seized control from the opening stages, breaking De Minaur's serve in the first game and quickly establishing a double-break advantage as the Australian struggled to deal with his intensity.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion raced through the opening, repeatedly punishing short balls and forcing errors from De Minaur.
Although De Minaur put up greater resistance in the second set and kept pace for long spells, Alcaraz closed out victory and secured his seventh consecutive win over his opponent.
Alcaraz, who has already qualified for the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin, will head to next week's Paris Masters brimming with confidence.
He takes on Jiri Lehecka or Alex Michelsen in his first match.
De Minaur, meanwhile, will turn his attention to Paris as he continues his push to qualify for the ATP Finals for a third consecutive year.
Vacherot rallies to beat Lehecka to win Swiss Indoors and clinch a second career title
Valentin Vacherot clinched his second career title after beating Jiri Lehecka 2-6 6-3 6-3 in the Swiss Indoors final on Sunday.
The unseeded Vacherot's other title came at the Shanghai Masters last year, when the player from Monaco came through the qualifying rounds.
He sealed victory this time when Lehecka's two-handed backhand landed just out. The eighth-seeded Czech player was seeking his first title of the year.
Vacherot waved his racket to the fans in Basel as he celebrated his win.
