The designer behind Jaguar's controversial 'woke' rebrand has been banned from driving after he was caught speeding just days after stepping down.
Gerry McGovern was caught driving at 25mph in a 20mph zone in his Range Rover, days after he was dismissed as Jaguar Land Rover's chief creative officer last December.
He was reportedly escorted out of the office shortly after a new chief executive took over.
The 71-year-old was driving on Chelsea Embankment in London in his £160,000 Range Rover P615 SV, which he designed and was described as the 'flagship luxury model of the line-up'.
McGovern, who lives in a luxury mansion in Warwickshire, enjoyed a 21-year career at Jaguar Land Rover, masterminding a revamp of the Land Rover's Defender model and the company's line-up of Range Rovers.

The Coventry-born millionaire was also the main creative force behind the radical rebrand of Jaguar in 2024.
His 'Type 00' concept for the carmaker's first electric model, shown off in 'Miami Pink' or 'London Blue', was compared to the car driven by Lady Penelope in Thunderbirds.
An advert for the 'Copy Nothing' rebrand, featuring a cast of androgynous-looking models but no cars, was criticised by Nigel Farage, Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
In December, Jaguar Land Rover denied it had 'terminated' Mr McGovern's employment after Autocar revealed the chief creative officer had been asked to step down after more than two decades.
His departure came a week after new chief executive PB Balaji was parachuted in from JLR's parent company Tata Motors.
But in March this year a statement to staff confirmed he was officially leaving the company to launch a creative consultancy.
Jaguar launched its news Type 01 grand tourer in New York earlier this month
McGovern admitted being the driver in the speeding incident but failed to pay a fixed penalty notice or give details of his driving licence. As a result, he was prosecuted under the Single Justice Procedure scheme.
Magistrates in Willesden, north London, imposed a six-month driving ban last week. He was also fined £220 and ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge totalling £218.
Earlier this month, Jaguar took the covers off its new 155mph Type 01 grand tourer which the company hopes will revive its fortunes as an all-electric auto manufacturer.
The two-and-a-half-ton luxury car, which will have a starting price from around £120,000, closely resembles the Type 00 concept and was met with a mixed reaction at the unveiling in New York.
Craig Kinnersley, who runs a luxury car consultancy, wrote on LinkedIn that the new design was an 'unmitigated catastrophe' – but ex-Top Gear and Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson said the car 'certainly has presence'.
