A new technology platform, called Approvable.app has launched in Nigeria. It gives visa agencies and travellers a way to check documents against the destination country’s published rules before an application is submitted and the non-refundable fee is paid.
The beta opened on Tuesday, November 3. It covers visitor and study visas to the UK, US, Canada and the Schengen area for applicants from Nigeria, Ghana and India.

The first Approvable.app Refusal Index, drawn from official immigration statistics, shows what is at stake. In 2025 alone, 64,941 UK visitor visa applications from Nigerians were refused, and each applicant lost the £135 fee.
For agencies, the app is a second check on every client file. An agent uploads a client’s documents and answers.
The app checks them against the destination’s requirements and the common grounds for refusal, then returns a readiness score and a list of what to fix.
For clients already refused, it reads the refusal letter and helps the agency prepare a structured reapplication.
Travellers can use it directly. A visitor visa review is half price, at N25,000 until November 30, 2026. Re-checks are free.

“Most refusals come down to documents that do not agree with each other or a question answered badly. That is fixable before anyone pays,” said Taiwo Ojo, founder of Approvable.app and co-founder and chief executive of Alluvium.
The partnership programme is open to visa and travel agencies across Nigeria, Ghana and India, with partner levels based on monthly checks.
