"For years, vote theft has been happening in this country. Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, in all these elections, vote theft has occurred.
Votes have been stolen through EVMs and by deleting and adding names to voter lists," he said.
Rahul further alleged that the alleged electoral manipulation had helped Modi become Prime Minister and Shah become home minister. He said removing Gyanesh Kumar was the first step towards restoring democracy and the Constitution.
"We do not want a country that belongs only to two or three people," he said, adding that farmers, students and labourers were being denied their rightful opportunities and benefits.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also accused the BJP of forming governments through stolen mandates and said removing Modi from power was necessary to save democracy.
