Nigerian striker Josh Maja continued his fine individual form, scoring his fourth Ligue 1 goal of the season, but his goal was not enough as bottom-placed Le Havre were thrashed 5-1 at home by champions PSG on Friday night.
Le Havre, who came into the game winless and bottom of the table with just two points from eight games, made a dream start at the Stade Océane.
In the 18th minute, Rayan Fofana burst down the left and crossed to the far post where Maja tapped in to make it 1-0 to the hosts.
But PSG, led by an extraordinary Achraf Hakimi, who netted a hat-trick, responded by scoring five times.

Maja almost got a second when his header hit the far post in the second half, but that was as close as Le Havre came.
The result leaves Le Havre bottom of Ligue 1 with two points from nine games while PSG moved to the top of the table with 20 points.
Maja has now scored four goals in 9 games for a struggling side, with Le Havre scoring only seven goals all season.
