A man has been banned from a Melbourne aquatic centre and charged by police after he was allegedly caught secretly filming several patrons inside a family changing room cubicle.
Police attended Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Keilor Downs within five minutes of the alleged incident being reported shortly after 11am on Sunday.
A patron attending the facility with his wife and young children raised the alarm after he allegedly noticed a phone recording from under a gap while in the changing room.
It is alleged the man deleted the video and threw the phone in a nearby bin when confronted.
The device was retrieved by a pool lifeguard before police allegedly located the footage in the phone's 'recently deleted' folder, The Age reported.
A Caroline Springs man, 62, was arrested and has since been charged with one count of producing child abuse material and one count of producing intimate images.
He was bailed to appear in Sunshine Magistrates' Court on March 23.
Victoria Police confirmed to the Daily Mail on Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing and have not ruled out additional charges.
