How to Deposit Money on Goka.ng

You should know that deposits are only possible once you’ve created an account, and just in case you don’t have an account yet, click here or on any of the “Join Goka Now” buttons on this page. Once your account is set up, here’s how to make a deposit.

1. Click on the deposit button

Just at the bottom of your homepage, you’ll see the deposit sign; click on it. Another way to get the deposit sign is by clicking on your Menu, and the option for deposit will pop up.

2. Select your preferred payment options

After clicking on the deposit sign, the next step is to select from the list of available payment options. Remember that the limit should guide your choice. If it’s less than a thousand naira, don’t use the crypto option.

3. Enter your deposit amount

If you select PalmPay, for example, you’ll need to enter an amount that’s within the limit of the payment option and click on deposit.

4. Complete payment

You’ll be directed to a secure page to authorize payment if you’re using PalmPay. Authorize the payment, and it’ll be credited to your account.

How to Deposit Using the Other Payment Option

If you’re not using an e-wallet option, here’s what you should do.

Bank Transfer

If you’re using this option, you’ll be presented with bank details to transfer to. Copy them directly from the payment screen. Check the bank, account number, and recipient name before sending.

Do not assume an account number saved from an earlier transaction is still valid. If the payment request has an expiry time or requires a reference, follow those instructions exactly.

Card Payments

If you’re choosing the card payment option, you’ll need to enter your details only into the secure payment form opened through the website.

When using this option, your bank may require additional authentication. Complete this yourself, and never send your PIN, password, or one-time code to someone claiming to be a support agent.

Cryptocurrency

If you choose cryptocurrency, check both the asset and the network specified on your deposit screen. Selecting the right coin but the wrong network can result in lost funds.

Also review the minimum amount, network fee, and any address-expiry instructions. Do not send cryptocurrency until these details are clear.
