Bendel Insurance technical adviser Kennedy Boboye is confident his side can secure a positive result when they face Kwara United away from home in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, on Sunday.

The Benin Arsenals will travel to the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin for the Matchday 11 fixture, hoping to record their first away victory of the season.

Insurance have struggled on the road this campaign, losing all their away matches.

However, they head into Sunday’s encounter in high spirits following an impressive 2-1 victory over league leaders Rivers United last weekend, a result that ended the Pride of Rivers’ unbeaten run.

The victory further strengthened Insurance’s impressive home record this season, having also brought Barau FC’s unbeaten run to an end.

Boboye Upbeat Of Positive Outing In Ilorin

Boboye expressed optimism about his team’s chances of getting a positive result in Ilorin.

“We will keep pushing. Nothing is impossible. The league is still fresh. We are going to Kwara in our next game; we will see what happens,” Boboye told the club’s media.

“I am happy. We are getting better, and hopefully, we get a positive result in Ilorin.”

Bendel Insurance have collected 15 points from nine matches and currently occupy ninth position on the NPFL table.
