Pride of Rivers Demand Fair Broadcast Coverage For All NPFL Clubs

Rivers United, through the statement, also advocated a fair and balanced distribution of live match coverage among all 20 participating clubs, arguing that selective coverage undermines the development of the league and the interest of Nigerian football fans.

“The Media and Broadcast Initiative agreement with MBI was intended to ensure comprehensive coverage of league fixtures, including matches such as Niger Tornadoes FC vs Barau FC and others on the broadcast schedule. This commitment was not fulfilled. No justification, apology or sanctions have followed.

“A breach of any agreement remains a breach, regardless of the party responsible. Accountability must apply equally,” the club demanded.
